Sasha Harjani-Hotchandani

Group Chief Financial Officer

About

Sasha’s rise to Group CFO is an inspiring story of commitment and sacrifice.   She joined the Cool team as Project Manager, straight out of college, in May 2005 and within fifteen years has gone from Group Treasurer to now managing the financial health of a multinational, multi-brand company.

An insightful leader, she has overseen the development and implementation of several systems and processes that has boosted Cool’s profit performance and enhanced its global footprint.

Her strong work ethic and problem solving abilities have seen her taking on even more diverse roles that have well and truly set her on the path to realizing her ultimate goal of listing Cool on the Jamaican Stock Exchange.

She ascribes her stellar performance to the strong leadership of Group CEO Joseph ‘Joey’ Issa whom she says “pushed me to explore new paths, develop my abilities and discover my better self’.

The best way to describe her is Mrs. Incredible, juggling the responsibilities of being a mom to two young children, a wife and a financial superwoman at Cool.

Sasha studied Finance with a minor in Spanish at the University of Western Ontario and her MBA in Banking and Finance at The University of the West Indies.
