This old timer was seen dancing up a storm at the KDC Supermarket Customer Appreciation Day. The unpredictable showers of rain and the threatening storm clouds could not stop the celebrations at the KDC supermarket on Saturday, August 30. Located in the heart of Brown’s Town, KDC Supermarket stands firm as a leader in customer service. On Saturday, KDC Supermarket recognized and celebrated the overwhelming support given to them by their customers. There was a lot to celebrate including their $10,000 cash prize for being last week’s Cool Cash retailer with the best growth.
From its inception in 1996 KDC has continuously found new ways to improve their customer relations. These include improved parking space, convenient opening hours and ‘house to house’ delivery of cooking gas.
To add to their customers’ convenience, KDC is also a Cool Card retailer and many customers purchase their Digicel Flex E card and also their Cable and Wireless EZ cards at the supermarket. KDC became last week’s Cool Card Cash Cash winner due to growth of 43% in sales, “We are very happy that we won” exclaims David Dennis, Managing Director of KDC Supermarket. “However we knew we would have done it since the cards are always made available by us, in fact we intend on ordering a second terminal and we are confident that we will win another $10,000 very soon.”
Mr. Dennis commended Cool Card for their excellent service and support and looks forward to continuing this beneficial collaboration. According to Mr. Dennis, the KDC Customer Appreciation Day is held at least twice per year. “We have got so much support from the community, despite adversities due to competition, so we feel it is important to give back to the community and thank our loyal customers for their consistent support.” Events of the day included music, free servings of soup, cake and other delicious treats, gifts for all shoppers and free ‘Net Cards’ compliments of Cool Card.
